Dental Phobia

A study by the University of Sydney has revealed that women in their late forties are more likely to have dental anxiety and phobias.

Dental anxiety is a very real and complex circumstance and should never be played down or dismissed. Informing your oral health professional of any concerns you may have is important. We aim to alleviate and help manage any fears you may have.

We also encourage regular visits to your oral health professional This is part of a good oral health strategy where the focus is placed on prevention rather than intervention.
