Brushing with Braces

10 September 2013

Brushing with takes time

When you have braces, brushing is difficult. There are alot of brackets, wires and nooks and crannies that can trap food and plaque.

This means your risk of gingivitis (bleeding gums) and tooth decay is higher while you are wearing your braces.

So, make sure you brush at least twice a day, and remember to clean around the brackets and in between your teeth. It is also advisable to have regular (every 3 months) professional cleans and fluoride applications during your orthodontic treatment.

For extra protection between your hygiene visits, we recommend using  tooth mousse plus as part of your daily oral hygiene routine.
